M1940 Heer Single Decal German Combat Helmet 

This is a good solid M1940 Heer Single Decal German Combat helmet.  The helmet retains about 90% of it's original factory dark green paint.  The helmet also retains some of it's field applied rough texture paint overtop of the factory paint.   The liner is the correct M31 single banded steel type.  The liner is just too tight to see the marker markings and date stamp.   The liner appears to a size 54.  The leather is in fair to good condition.   There is one finger with a tear and the front area along the steel rim is worn through.   All of the rivets are intact and match the exterior paint.  The left front and rear rivets are very snug and the right front just has some slight play.  The Heer Decal is about 20% there and the rest appears to have flaked off due to poor adhesion.    The decal is guaranteed to be 100% original to this helmet.   This M1940 has not been tampered with and is guaranteed to be 100% authentic.   The helmet is an SE62 and has a lot number of 1402.  Overall,  this is a good solid M1940 Heer.  As with all my helmets, this M40 Heer helmet comes with my Lifetime Guarantee and Certificate of Authenticity.

M1935 Heer Double Decal German Combat Helmet 

This is a nice solid Authentic M1935 Heer Double Decal German Combat helmet.  This helmet retains 85% of its original factory Pre-War Pea Green paint with just some very slight surface rust in a few areas.  Overall the exterior of the helmet has a really nice patina.   The liner is an earlier M1931 Single Banded Aluminum liner and is date stamped 1937.  The liner is a size 54.   The leather is in good condition with a couple of stains and one slight tear.   The original and correct drawstring is present.  All of the rivets are intact, tight, and show no sign of tampering and have nice dust/corrosion build up.   The rivets do have a lighter apple green finish but I am very confident that these were the original pins placed in the piece when issued.   The helmet has the original chinstrap which is fully intact and is in good condition.  The strap has a nice aluminum buckle, often seen on the earlier issue helmets.  The strap is maker marked but the markings are not legible.  The correct Q Bigfoot type Heer Decal is in beautiful condition and it rates around 99% with just a slight scuff.  The National Colors (Tricolor) decal  rates at 97% intact with just a couple of slight nicks.  The Tricolor does exhibit some very nice spider veining.  Both decals are guaranteed to be 100% original to this helmet.   This helmet is a very early Q62 with a lot number of 803.   This is one of the lowest lot numbers I have seen on a Q.  The Quist firm began production of the M35 in 1937 and the liner band does also correspond with the early run number being date stamped 1937 and single banded.  Overall,  this helmet displays very well and is a desirable Q BF Heer.   As with all my helmets, this M1935 Double Decal Heer combat helmet comes with my Lifetime Guarantee and Certificate of Authenticity.

M1935 Heer Single Decal Camouflaged German Combat Helmet 

This is a good representative Authentic M1935 Heer Single Decal Camouflaged German Combat helmet.  This helmet appear to have been reissued mid War, then it received a tan and green camo paint, most likely later in the War.   The helmet has the patina that indicates it was scrubbed down at some point.   I am not sure when or if it was cleaned but it does have the patina of being cleaned.   The liner is a mid War M1931 steel banded type and is a size 55.   The leather is in good condition with typical wear.   The liner appears to be a post war refitted liner as there is no evidence of dust and corrosion that I typically see in original liners.   So, for the purposes of accurate representation of the helmet, I believe the liner to be an original period liner, added to the helmet at some point during the post war period.   The name of the German soldier was painted in the inner skirt and is still visible.  I can't quite make the name out and maybe the new owner will have better luck determining the name.   All of the rivets are intact and do match the exterior paint, and appear to be original to the helmet.   The Heer Decal has been heavily scrubbed down and is about 40% intact.  This helmet is an EF62 with a lot number of 814, indicating very early production.  Overall,  this M35 Heer has nice overall look and it displays well, after all, it is an original camouflage helmet.   As with all my helmets, this M1935 Double Decal Heer combat helmet comes with my Lifetime Guarantee and Certificate of Authenticity.

M1918 German Heer Single Decal Re-issue Combat Helmet 

This is a nice solid Original M1918 Heer Combat helmet.   The helmet has a great brushed on rough texture gray re-issue paint.   The liner is a single banded steel type, often found in the mid War reissue pieces.  The leather is in nice solid condition with original drawstring intact and is a size 55.  The Heer Decal decal rates at close to 75%.   The decal seems to have suffered from some poor adhesion, which is often a result of the rough texture paint.   The decal does have some nice toned and aged lacquer which is clear indication of being period applied.  All three Rivets are present and match the exterior paint.   I cannot locate any maker markings, due to heavy reissue paint in the inner skirt.  Overall, this is nice solid display piece.   This helmet, as with all my helmets comes with my Written Lifetime Guarantee and Certificate of Authenticity.

M1942 Heer Single Decal German Combat Helmet

This is great looking M1942 Heer Single Decal German Combat helmet.   This helmet has a nice overall patina and it retains close to 95% of its original rough texture dark green paint.   The M1931 single banded steel liner is in good solid condition and exhibits some typical wear.    The original drawstring is intact and is in very good condition.  The liner band is date stamped 1940 and is a size 59.  The Rivets are all intact, snug and match the exterior paint perfectly.   The original strap is present and was war time shortened, which is very common.   The ET Type Heer decal has some beautiful lacquer toning and some crazing.   There decal has a few scuffs and is about 90-95% intact.   This M1942 has not been tampered with and is guaranteed to be 100% authentic.   The manufacturers stamp is ET66.  The production number is 2627.  Overall, this is a nice clean M1942 Heer Combat helmet.  As with all my helmets, this M42 Heer helmet comes with my Lifetime Guarantee and Certificate of Authenticity.

M1940 Luftwaffe Single Decal German Combat Helmet 

This is a great looking Original M1940 Luftwaffe Single Decal German Combat Helmet.   This helmet retains about 95% of its original Luftwaffe Blue/Gray Rough texture paint.  The dome area has a slight indentation.  The helmet does have the correct M31 steel banded liner.  The liner is in fair condition with a couple of torn fingers.  The original drawstring is still intact.  All of the rivets are intact and are fairly snug.  The 2nd Pattern Luftwaffe Adler Decal is in very good condition and rates at 95%.   The decal texture is consistent with the rest of the helmet and exhibits some nice lacquer toning.   This M1940 has not been tampered with and is guaranteed to be 100% authentic.   This Luftwaffe helmet is a Q64.  Q indicates that this helmet was manufactured at the Quist firm plant in Esslingen, Germany.  The production number is DN131.  Overall, this is a good solid M1940 Luftwaffe combat helmet that displays very well.   As with all my helmets, this M40 Luftwaffe helmet comes with my Certificate of Authenticity and Lifetime Guarantee.

M1942 Luftwaffe Single Decal Combat Helmet

This is nice clean M1942 Luftwaffe Single Decal German Combat helmet.  This helmet has great looking patina with about 95% of its original field gray rough texture factory paint still intact.   The exterior has some very slight surface rust in some areas on the dome and right side.   There also appears to be remnants of tape that was on the front and back.   It is ever so slight and does not detract from the helmet.   The correct M1931 single banded steel liner is in good condition and exhibits typical wear.   The band is a size 55.   The liner is in too tight to view the maker marks and year of manufacture.  The original Rivets are in place, snug, and match the exterior paint.  The Second Pattern Luftwaffe decal exhibits just light wear and is about 95% intact.   The manufacturers stamp is NS62 with a lot number of D274.  Overall, this is a really clean M1942 Luftwaffe Combat helmet.   As with all my helmets, this M42 Luftwaffe combat helmet comes with my Lifetime Guarantee and Certificate of Authenticity.

M1917 Austrian Transitional Double Decal Combat Police Helmet 

This is a really super and rare Original M1917 Austrian Combat Field Police helmet.   The helmet has a beautiful brushed on dark green paint and it retains about 90% or better of the paint.   The liner is textbook Austrian with the green metal band and three padded type leather.   The leather is in good solid condition with original drawstring intact.   The Early Un-bordered Police decal rates at close to 85%.  The Party decal is close to 95% intact with nice lacquer toning.  All three Rivets are present and matches the exterior paint.   The helmet does have the original roller buckle Austrian strap.  The strap is in nice solid condition.  The helmet appears to be a size 66.  Overall, this is extremely nice and scarce piece.   This helmet, as with all my helmets comes with my Written Lifetime Guarantee and Certificate of Authenticity.

Allgemeine SS Transitional Austrian "Droop Bill" Parade Helmet 

This is a super rare Original Allgemeine SS Transitional Austrian Droop Bill Parade helmet.   This helmet has a really nice patina.   The original black paint is in good condition with some typical wear on the dome and some mild dents in the dome area that doesn't detract from the display qualities.  The liner is the three pad early type and the leather is in dry fragile condition.  The helmet also has the correct period roller buckle chinstrap.  The leather strap is fairly dry and fragile but intact.  All of the rivets are intact and match the exterior paint.  What's really special about this helmet is the fact that it is a Black Droop Bill with decals instead of hand painted insignias.  The CA Pocher Runic decal is gorgeous with nice crazing on the runes and nice gold lacquer toning.  The Runic decal rates at 95%.  The Party Decal rates about 95% with a few scratches and nice lacquer toning.  There are no visible marker markings on the helmet.  This scarce and desirable Allgemeine Transitional helmet has not been tampered with and is guaranteed to be 100% authentic.  The helmet is priced accordingly based on the condition and is one of the very few examples in existence of the type.   As with all my helmets, this Allgemeine SS Transitional Droop Bill helmet comes with a Lifetime Guarantee of Authenticity.

M1934 SS-SD Double Decal Medium Duty German Helmet 

This is a beautiful textbook example of the M1934 SS-SD Double Decal German helmet.   This helmet is also known as the "Edelstahl" helmet is super scarce.   The exterior paint is beautiful and it retains about 98% or better of the original Field Gray paint with some wear areas revealing the light blue primer coat which is typically found on the Edelstahl helmets.   The liner is the correct mock M1931 style liner found in the Edelstahl helmets.   The band is made from chipboard aka. pressboard.   The leather is in very nice condition and the liner retains the four rivets and the four cork pads.   The liner is a size stamped 56 in the correct type found in other known examples.  The original drawstring is present and in good condition with one area of thinness.   There is "G" written in the liner and several areas of illegible handwriting.  The original and correct roller buckle chinstrap with quick release strap is present and is in very good overall condition.   The strap is not maker marked.   The inner skirt is stamped "Edelstahl" in the correct type font.   The SS Runic Pocher Decal rates about 95% with some slight typical wear.  The decal is guaranteed to be 100% original to this helmet.   The Party decal rates at about 92-93% and shows some typical wear and appears to have torn slightly in the upper right corner at the time of application.  This M1934 SS-VT helmet has not been tampered with and is guaranteed to be 100% authentic.   This helmet comes out of California and I am working on obtaining the Veteran information.    Overall,  this is a beautiful and scarce M1934 SS-VT helmet.  As with all my helmets, this M34 SS-VT helmet comes with my Lifetime Guarantee and Certificate of Authenticity.

US M1 Front Seam Swivel Bale Military Police Combat Helmet

This is a nice M1 Front Seam Swivel Bale American MP Combat helmet.   This helmet shell itself was most likely produced in late 1943.   The helmet was appears to have been issued as an MP helmet during the Korean Era.   The dark green paint has cork in it creating a nice rough texture look.  The paint is most likely Korean War vintage as well.   The liner is a WWII vintage Westinghouse liner that is maker marked and has 18D as well.  The suspension webbing, and nape strap are in good condition.  The liner is missing the adjustable leather sweatband.   It is also missing the liner chin strap.   An interesting element to this liner is the A type Paratrooper web straps.  The buckles are brass indicating that they are Post WWII paratrooper straps.   The straps must have been part of a post WWII modification.  The helmet chin strap does appear to be a Korean War issue strap.  As with all of my items, this helmet comes with my Written Lifetime Guarantee and Certificate of Authenticity.
