M1942 Heer Single Decal German Helmet

This is a great looking M1942 Heer Single Decal German Helmet.  This WWII German helmet retains around 90-95% of its original dark green rough texture factory finish.  The helmet retains its original M1931 steel banded liner.  The liner is size 57 and is date stamped 1943.  The liner leather is in nice overall condition with typical staining and wear.  The liner has its original drawstring however it is frayed and in fragile condition.  The pins appear to be original to the helmet.  It should be noted that the front right pin is missing the washer.  It's hard to say if the washer was left off as installation or if it was removed post war therefore we make no representation.  The Heer decal look great and rates at 90% or better.  There is a hand painted Tricolor on the right side.  The Tricolor doesn't show aging or patina to be considered a war time done addition, therefore it was likely done during the post war years. The maker mark is CKL64 indicating manufacture by Eisenhuttenwerke firm in Thale, Germany.   The lot number is 3132.  On this helmet our Certificate of Authenticity and Lifetime Guarantee will be limited to the shell, liner, paint and the Heer decal.

M1935 Luftwaffe Two Color Camouflaged German Helmet

This is an authentic M1935 Luftwaffe Camouflaged German helmet.  This is certainly a piece that did not sit out the war!  This WWII Luftwaffe German helmet retains around 40-50% of the field applied camouflaged paint.   The camo paint is tan and green.   The helmet also appears to have had a field gray over-paint before the camouflaged paint.   The exterior displays quite a bit of paint loss as a result of heavy field use especially in the dome area.   The Split pin rivets are original to the helmet and fully intact.  This German helmet has the correct M1931 reinforced aluminum liner and is dated 1938 and is size 54.  The liner leather is in good overall condition with the original drawstring being present.  There is a name written in the leather but it's not legible.  The helmet has a 1939 dated chinstrap.   The strap has red dye which is typical of straps reissued to Norway during the post war years.  Apparently the strap has been added to the helmet during the post war years.  The early first pattern Luftwaffe decal is peeking out from under the camo paint in areas.   The National Colors decal is present and also peeking through the camo paint.  The helmet is an ET62 indicating manufacture by the Eisenhuttenwerke firm in Thale, Germany.   The lot number is 3655.  The mysterious "S" is stamped above the lot number.   This has been seen on a number of early ET helmets.   I am not sure what this S represented.  Overall, just a great looking, "been there, done that" Luftwaffe Camouflaged helmet.  As with all our WWII German helmets, this M1935 Luftwaffe German helmet comes with our Lifetime Guarantee and Certificate of Authenticity.
