Issue #14 February 2011
Good day fellows! As I close out the month of January I am really excited. January was a record month for the website. February is off to a nice start as well. I have to say how grateful I am to this industry for providing a way to make a living for me and my family. The WWII items have held up very well in the economy and I am pleased that guys are out there buying. As you will note, I have been making some changes to the website to freshen things up a bit. We have a new logo for WW2GermanHelmets.com. My wife Karen came up with the logo and I am really pleased with it. As a side note, the helmet used in the logo is actually a real M1942 helmet. I really think the new logo adds a professional touch to the website and is good for branding. I have some new Beer glasses and shirts on the way to sport at the upcoming Show of Shows in Louisville. In addition, I have changed the background of the website from white to tan. It seems a little easier on the eyes and not so stark. I hope you guys like the new look of the website. Sometime during 2011 I am planning a switchover from Frontpage to a more current web platform, which should really change the site in appearance and functionality. I am also hopeful to add a shopping cart at that point and automate things a bit more.
We also just launched a new WW2GermanHelmets.com Facebook page. If you are on Facebook, please go to my WW2GermanHelmets.com page and sign up for updates by clicking on Like. I am posting behind the scene happenings and it's another great way to communicate to you. And you have probably noticed the new inventory is being announced using "Twitter". I can "tweet" and there is an RSS feed direct to my homepage. It really is an easy way for me to make you all aware of a new item just listed on the website without a full blown web page update. Here's the links to learn more:
Don't forget that the Show of
Shows in Louisville is just a couple of weeks away. This really
is a fantastic opportunity to get out, meet fellow collectors, as well as
pick up some deals on some fantastic WWII items. The
show features dealers from around the World as well as
collectors. I will be at Table E-33
at the show. Be sure to look for my WW2GermanHelmets.com
banner at the table. The favorite part
of the show for me is being able to meet up with all the helmet
collectors. Take a lot of cash with you and be prepared for a
lot of fun!
IF it's Militaria, It will be THERE!
Documents, Books, Uniforms, Edged Weapons,
Helmets, Medals & Decorations, Military antique
firearms, And MUCH, MUCH More!
MEET FAMOUS MILITARY VETERANS FROM THE PAST

Payment Methods and Shipping
Cash, Check, Money Order, PayPal, Visa/MasterCard, and Bank Transfer are all accepted. I also am pleased to accept layaways. Simply pay 1/2 down, then pay the remaining balance within 30 days. Once the balance is paid, I will ship your item promptly.
Items will be shipped after the check clears for items paid with personal checks.
Shipping will be handled on a quote basis. Generally we use UPS for domestic as the tracking is superior and the service very reliable. We can offer FedEx & USPS shipping as well.
International shipping is also on a quote by quote basis. I will ship to any country that shipping is available. Be advised that if you are in a banned country, the risk for customs seizure is yours. For International shipments I recommend using USPS Express International Mail as it can be tracked. EMS is more expensive, however less services with the US Postal Service put you at risk for loss as the tracking capabilities are limited. For the safest and best tracking as well as the fastest transit time, I recommend United Parcel Service, International Door to Door Service. For shipments with low value declared without proper insurance, WW2GermanHelmets.com cannot accept liability for loss or damage.
